Wixaricas sculptures are made with soft Guásima, Pochote or Colorín wood, these sculptures are representations of gods. Those art pieces are an important aspect of Wixaritari culture, and they are commonlly sculpt with wooden sticks or sharped tools.
Over the mountains these sculptures are made to beg for health, good hunting and a long life.
The materials required to decorate them are several, such as beads, worsted or glass pieces among others.
